Mux/Demux & Fiber Media Converters
CWDM Mux/Demux units are passive devices which are able to combine multiple wavelengths of varying widths for propagation through a single duplex LC fiber cable. Course Wavelength-Division Multiplexers (CWDMs) reduce overall network complexity, maintain long distance fiber cables to a minimum, and allow for a more cost-efficient high-performance fiber network.
DWDM Mux/Demux devices reduce large quantities of individual LC fiber patch cables, allowing for a more cost-effective and clutter free networking environment. Dense Wavelength-Division Multiplexers (DWDM) are capable of combining up to 40 unique wavelengths for propagation over a single duplex LC fiber cable. Ethernet to fiber Media Converters are designed to easily insert fiber segments into copper networks. These converters enable you to extend 100-meter reach limit imposed by the copper cables to over 80km. Each media converter comes complete with an integrated SFP module and is highly configurable to meet most requirements. The standalone and PoE media converters include an integrated power supply.
